New Arrival: Castanhol Fig

Just arrived today 3/10/16.
Castanhol Fig.

Info pulled from F4F:
"CASTANHOL - is a close variation of LAMPEIRA PRETA very similar fruit which changed name when ages ago migrated to the Northern Provinces. By mid June it is sold in markets around Lisbon under the name Castanhol side by side with Lampos Pretos from Algarve."


To increase my chances of success, I grafted one node onto a Desert King Rootstock and the rest using the bag method.






















The remainder of the cuttings went into the bag method.
